This Sunday's Summer Lecture Series features former NFL athlete, DARPA Scientist, and Genetic Researcher and Biohacker featured on Netflix's Don't Die, Dr. Ryan Rossner. will speak on Genetics 101 for Longevity, Space Travel, and a Better Human Future. June 21, 2026.

The Summer Lecture Series takes place at Barrow Brewing Company every Sunday at 2 p.m. in the taproom. Come early to grab a seat and geek out with us over a beer!

Have you heard Salado is the Scottish Capital of Texas? The Village will host its 65th Annual Scottish Gathering and Highland Games this November. BUT This Saturday at 2 p.m. you can experience part of the Highland Games with a demonstration of Weights for Distance. Athletes will be at Barrow to teach us how it's done and offer some hands on instruction!

Scottish ancestry not required. Kilts not required (but more fun). Good times guaranteed.
