If you missed the exciting TN State Park open house at McDonald Farm's Harvest Barn on July 20th, don’t worry! We want everyone in Sale Creek and Hamilton County to get involved in shaping the future of the upcoming 70th State Park. This park will feature 1,300 acres of the historic McDonald Farm at the northern tip of Hamilton County and in Rhea County (Graysville). Take a moment to complete a quick survey through the link below. Your input will help guide the development of the new state park and may also shape Sale Creek and Graysville.

🌾It's worth noting that Sale Creek and Graysville currently do not have sewer infrastructure. These are rural small-town farming and family communities.

America 250 🇺🇸

Yesterday, with the help and attendance of various chapters of the Tennessee/Georgia Sons of the American Revolution, we were able to honor one of our hometown heros.

Benjamin Jones (1764-1856)

Benjamin enlisted into to fight for liberty in Maryland exactly 250 years ago from today, June 29th, 1776. He was only 13 years old...and would go on to fight with the "Dandy 5th" (5th Maryland Regiment) in some of the wars most brutal moments before their tragic defeat at the Battle of Camden, SC.

Today, we remember the courage, curiosity, bravery, and foresight of Benjamin and his generation Patriots on the eve of our nation's 250th birthday!🇺🇸

We have arrived at a critical moment in time for the future of McDonald Farm. As the county and state continues to move the needle forward on the recently announced 70th State Park, which will total 2,500-acres (1,300 of which has historically been McDonald Farm), feedback has become essential. Essential to the fulfillment of the taxpayers vision which we have all worked so hard to obtain thus far.
