It's been a full week of orders, and still more to go! I am not accepting any more orders for this week, but have availability for next week.

Get your favorites on the calendar in advance! Delivery to Salem Square is free on Wednesday afternoons. 🙌

My Sourdough Cinnamon Wreath (always a fan favorite) has decided to go Pumpkin, and it's a winner! The Pumpkin Wreath is sooo good! I will be offering this flavor ONLY for the month of November! They are $15/each.

Sourdough Bread and Bagels, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels, and Wreaths have been my number one items ordered lately. Oh, and Pork too! 😉

Dinner last night. 🤤 It's the Boone version of a Monte Cristo Sandwich. Messy, but worth it 💯.

Sourdough with a thick slab of our pan fried Ham Steak, Swiss Cheese, and Raspberry Jam, coated in an egg batter and fried to perfection in butter and lard. Topped off with Hot Honey. It's not just food. It's an experience. 😉

The Sourdough Bread, Jam, Hot Honey, and Ham Steaks are all items made by us, and are available for pre-order and local delivery to a central location. If you're ever in the mood for some of these ingredients, or for making your own Monte Cristos, just let me know!

UPDATE: BACON is SOLD OUT! 😳 If I could make the whole pig be belly for y'all I would, but unfortunately there are other parts that make up a pig. If it helps, my kids refer to our ham steaks as bacon too. 😘

We are very grateful to those of you who have stuck with us, despite our page neglect* here. Unfortunately butcher prices (and many other things, as you all have probably felt in your budgets) have increased significantly in the almost 3 years we have been selling our meats here in AR & MO, and it all is becoming less and less affordable for us to continue doing in the same way. We will continue to sell meat when we can, but it won't be available as often now.

*I know you haven't seen much of us on here lately. Life is very full these days with many commitments and projects. We have also dealt with some stalkers on this page, leaving bad fake reviews, mean comments, and messages. The same person every time from what we can find out, but using multiple accounts, including "fake name" ones. Even though our store front has been closed for almost 6 months, we are still getting harassed by this person. It's been a headache to say the least.*

Save the Date! You guys have asked me to start offering Cooking & Baking Classes. Even since closing our store front to the public, I still get asked several times a month!

Well, you finally have your wish!

I know, it's a ways out, but I want to start getting the word out early, so you can prepare and mark your calendar. I know how busy life gets once school starts up and the holidays begin to roll around. If there ends up being enough interest, I will do a second date.

More info to come, but stay tuned, for this, and other future offerings.

We have Piglets available again!

These guys are so healthy and fun!

Feeder Piglets; 6-8 weeks old. Gilts & Barrows available. Just weaned. Supplemented Organic Feed. Never given any junk/vax/medication. Raised with mom in forest paddocks, free to forage and explore. Electric wire trained.

These are amazing, vigorous piglets born and raised here. Grow out very well, with lots of beautiful fat, and red, marbled meat. Our pork is well loved by many for a reason! 😉 Happy to connect you with our organic feed supplier, if desired.

Hello Friends and Customers!

We have been busy and out of town the past few weeks making meat deliveries all over the place. We are home finally, and things are settling back down.

I have had several of you reach out regarding meat restocks. We just stocked up on pork and chicken, but then immediately sold out again on some things. 🙃 I have listed what we do have in stock below. If you would like anything, please let us know as soon as possible, so we can set it aside for you.

We also still have our other wonderful products available: greeting cards, tinctures, salves, Tallow Balms, Vanilla's, and lots more.

I am working to get my sourdough fully revived after being gone so long, and am back to baking all the things.

I will be delivering orders to Salem: WEDNESDAY, JULY 10th @ 10:30am. If you would like anything, please get your order placed in advance. You are also still more than welcome to schedule a time to shop in store. Please message me to arrange that.

We're trying our best to beat the heat with homemade ice cream and cakes lately. 😅 Hope you guys are finding ways to stay cool!

Hope you all have been staying cool, and finding ways to enjoy life lately!

We've been eating all the good ice cream on repeat lately in our best effort to cool off after busy work days. 😉 Tonight was Banana Ice Cream. I make a banana pudding that is absolute gold, (if I do say so myself), and I decided to take my methods and use them with my ice cream...it was a definite winner!

We've also been up to lots of gardening and butchering and farm work the past couple weeks. The work load never ends!

I have a couple days I will be delivering to Salem Square this week. If you need anything, please reach out. The sooner the better, as I typically need a good 48 hours to prepare for *most* orders. You can find our menu pinned to the top of this page, or look for prior posts of other goods I can make. I can't necessarily make anything on there happen right now, but I will do my best! Always ask at least! 😘

After this week, I will be closed to orders, as we have a very busy couple of upcoming weeks, managing delivery of Pork Shares locally, statewide, and nationwide, which typically means things get a little chaotic for us. So I am just going to make it easier on everyone, and close ordering for that time period. I will be back to your sourdough (and other treats) after June 30th.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

We recently reopened our store to the public, with the intention of seeing how business went. We strategically lowered our hours and moved to being open just two days a week, to hopefully encourage more shopping during specific times, vs more randomly throughout the week. However, we have determined that we do better in our business with pre-orders and "by appointment" shopping.

From now on, we will be open by appointment only. Please don't let this stop you from shopping with us though! Just send us a call/text/message to place orders and come visit our store for your favorite meats and other health products. 24-48 hour notice is ideal, particularly for sourdough products.

With this change, I will also be offering free delivery to a central location in Salem, Thayer/Mammoth, and West Plains on orders of $50+. Under $50, then there will be a $5 delivery charge.

We appreciate your understanding and support! If you need anything, don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Please note, this does take effect as of 5/24, so we will not be open to the public this weekend.

Happy Saturday!

Only a couple hours left to come get your Sourdough, Doughnuts, Not-Pop Tarts, Cookies, Bagels, and more!

I forgot to get a photo of all the goods we baked today, so here's one of yesterday's quick garden harvest instead.

Unfortunately I didn't have time to get any lettuce washed and prepped this weekend, but if you are in need of good lettuce, I have plenty, just call ahead. 🤪 I also have onion greens available if you need those. No other produce is available at this time.

We are open until 2pm today!

As a reminder, we also take orders throughout the week for people, and are open by appointment for those who want or need something specific, but aren't able to get out here during our open hours.
