Hello Berry Folks!

Update on the patch- there are not very many berries left! It will take a little bit of time to get a few quarts- but still possible! We will be leaving the patch open for one more week for anyone who would like to try their luck!

🫐Martha's Blueberry Patch is now open for Summer 2025!🫐

There were a lot of berries at the patch this weekend, so we decided to open it up a bit earlier than usual once again! Please stop on by and pick some delicious berries- look for our signs around Whitacre Road!

As a reminder, we provide buckets that you are able to pick in, but please bring your own containers to take the berries home. Thank you and hope to see you there!

We have been busy this year- planting new berries and beginning our grand plan to mulch around each bush!

As of right now, we are expecting to open around the 4th of July. U-pick prices are still $4 /quart (and don't forget bring your own containers!) Hope to see you then!

The patch is officially closed for the season!

Huge thanks to everyone who came out and picked or who purchased some blueberries from us at the farmer's market this year. Based on how few berries are left, we have decided it is time to close! We will reopen next July, 2025. See you then!

Fun in the patch as we near the end of our blueberry season!

Thank you to everyone who has come out and picked so far! There are still some blueberries out there- so get em before they are gone. The patch will likely only be open for another week or so this season.

Hello everyone!

There are still LOTS of berries at the patch- please stop on by and get some while they are still here!

A huge thanks to anyone who has purchased berries at the Plain City Farmers' Market- attached are the recipes of the samples we handed out last week and yesterday, a lemon blueberry cake and some blueberry cheesecake!

Hello! Our first farmers market of the year was a success- huge thanks to everyone who stopped by. Our recipe this week was a blueberry ice tea, see the attached image if you want the recipe!

We will be at the Plain City Farmers Market every Thursday of July from 4:30-7pm. Please stop by if you want some berries!

Also there are TONS of berries at the patch, if you are in the area of northeast Ohio and would like to pick some berries please come out to our patch on Whitacre Rd in Salem!

Huge announcement: the patch is now open for summer 2024!

The berries ripened a bit early this year, so we are opening the patch a few days early! Stop on by and pick some delicious berries for $4/quart. This year we have some new buckets that can be used to pick/measure berries, but please bring your own containers to take them home.

As always we are located on Whitacre Rd in Salem (you will see it). In the early season, ripe berries are mostly located near the top- happy picking!

Hello blueberry fans!

We've been hard at work cleaning up the patch, including "freeing" some more bushes and a pear tree from overgrown wild roses and blackberries. We will be all set to open sometime during the first week of July- we'll keep everyone posted!

Pruning Time!

In the off season, we prune and prune and prune some more- we got quite the pile of blueberry wood so far this season. Pruning helps maintain the size of the bush (as many of you know, some of the bushes have gotten quite large lol) and also keeps the plants growing strong and producing great berries.

We are looking forward to our opening in July!
