Halfway to our goal! 😇😇. Today is the last day for fresh cheesecakes until I am back in town, which is looking like it will be much earlier than anticipated. There’s still a bit left at the moment, so I don’t anticipate anything selling out today.

Our vacation hit a snag with an unexpected $1500 hospital visit for Rock. This whole trip was curated for her, and she wanted to go to the hospital even though it wasn’t in our plans 💀.
Seriously though, it was rough. We really thought she wasn’t going to make it home, but she was diagnosed with pneumonia and should recover with medication 😪.

Goal Update! We’re at 14% of the goal of 327 cheesecakes I hope to move while I am on vacation❤️

I went to check progress today and don’t know where the 287 number came from in the last title. It was not what I wrote down before we left. It’s always been 327.

I didn’t take any cheesecake photos before I left so I’ll share some vacation photos for engagement.

We made it to our destination! Rock went to Rock, MI and even got an interview for the news. We started the rest of our Michigan exploration with Mackinac Island. ❤️❤️❤️

Vacation mode is officially on 🧳

The store is still open this week from 1pm–7pm while I’m away. The hope is to sell 287 cheesecakes to finish covering the rest of this month’s bills and expenses.

It’s Beverly’s first few days running things, so please be kind and patient while she gets settled in. I left for vacation with my labeling system basically non-existent, so flavors may require a little extra searching and checking 🤣

A few reminders while I’m gone:
• No in-house deliveries this week
• DoorDash is available
• Store hours are 1pm–7pm daily

Vacation update + restock announcement! ☀️🍰

Today and tomorrow are the final days for Salem/Albany delivery before I leave for vacation. I’ll be spending the next two days focused on restocking as much as I can so there is stock while I’m gone. I still need to sell 375 cheesecakes this month to cover the bills - which would be no problem but I’m a little nervous how it will go while I’m not around 😆

While I’m away, the shop will remain open on adjusted hours:

Monday–Saturday
1:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Please note:
• In-house delivery will be unavailable during this time
• Orders can still be placed through DoorDash
• Local meet-up pickup will be available in Albany at Panera from 7:30–7:45 PM

Pancakes on sale for $5 today 🤣. Order ahead online at CandylandCheesecakes.com. They are made on order unless a time is specified in the notes.

This week is going a bit off schedule - I’m leaving for a vacation on the 16th 😎.

The store will be open when I’m gone on shorter hours so I’m spending the rest of my days filling the fridge with things.

Don’t really have a return date yet, could be the end of May or it could be a week

Anything specific you want to see?! My list at the moment is repeating this last week and week before.
