One season. So much to be thankful for...Wisconsin summers have a way of filling both the garden and the heart. Fresh garlic, lavender, and raspberries... all from the farm this week.

Every day on a garlic farm has a story. What's happening in this picture? Wrong answers encouraged. 😄
Bonus points if you spot the tiny turkey poult to the right of the hen. It's only about knee-high to a clover blossom!

"Between places, but not lost."
A young Sandhill Crane visiting Speakeasy Garlic Farm. It spent the morning near the chicken yard, preening and taking its time before continuing on.
Nature rarely seems in a hurry!

It's been a very wet spring so far and tonight we had strong storms and tornado sirens going off (video is of the back yard and field). Nothing touched down here at the Speakeasy Garlic Farm in Salem, lots of rain and wind...thinking of our friends to the North in Sussex...looks like they had one on the ground...
