Upick strawberries! We are open Memorial Weekend on Saturday! 8am-6pm in the upick tent and 9am-6pm in the store. We are closed Sundays and we are also closed on Monday for Memorial Day. Please read on for upick instructions:
- Bring your own containers.
- When you arrive in the parking lot, turn right and follow the grass road. It will swing to the left. Then follow it all the way to the big white upick tent.
- Check in with our staff at the tent. They will weigh your containers and then you will be shown to a row.
- Please do not help yourself to a row without checking in with our staff. Our flagging system ensures that we know which areas of the field have been picked already. Following the instructions will help everyone have a better picking experience.
- When you are assigned a row, walk all the way down to the flag at the far end. Do not start picking by the center path. You will work your way towards the center path from the flag.
- When you finish picking, please place your flag in the bush where you stopped. If you did the whole row, the flag goes at the end of the row. If you finish a row and still want to pick more, please ask our staff member to show you to a new one.
- Please only pick in designated areas where you’ve been assigned. The smaller third field to the far north (beyond the porta potties) is off limits for customers - this is where our hired picking team is working.
- When you have finished picking, please bring your full containers back to the tent to receive your total. We accept cash payments at the tent. We can write a total receipt for card payments to be processed at our farm store.
- Please be patient with our staff as some are new employees in training this year!
Hoods are $2.30/lb and Albions are $2/lb. If you want to pick Albions, please let our clerk know as most people want to pick Hoods. The majority of the field is Hoods.
Our farm store is stocked with tasty treats. We have delicious baked goods, already picked berries, local produce, and more. Come check it out!
