We’ve being doing a slower, longer finish feed out on our freezer camp bovines to increase the marbling and produce better beef for your table. This was one from this morning butcher is a smaller carcass as it was from a first calf heifer, but looks fantastic.

This is part of the Baker Acres family who suffered one of the biggest losses a family can suddenly go through with the loss of a husband and father. Their friends have put together a fundraiser with Turner Pizza & Taphouse this coming Sat. If you want to have great pizza and support a loving family come on by!

4 bull claves, 2 heifers one spring calf left to drop soon. Fingers crossed for another bull!

Early morning sunrise with the moon still peeking through while the bovines graze.

I am a native Oregonian!

Before you think that this will never pass, ask yourself if you felt the same about Kate Brown making drugs legal??!?

And look where they are today!

VOTE!!

It’s honestly mind blowing that this is even an issue here in Oregon, however we are constantly dealing with the uneducated…

I hunt and I fish and farming is important because I value good meat and knowing where it came from and what is in it.

For far too long, we the people of Oregon have watched decisions be made by people who dont understand or respect our way of life.

For far too long, rural communities have been talked over, not talked with. And now we are facing IP28, a measure that threatens our local livestock, our hunting traditions, and the independence that built this state.

Let me be very clear, this isn't just about policy. This is about food security,

This is about generational knowledge,

This is about whether families who raise their own meat, who hunt to feed their children, who live off this God given land respectfully and responsibly, still have that right without government interference.

Our local farmers and ranchers are already struggling under regulation, inflation, and rising costs. IP28 adds another layer that risks pushing small operations out, while corporate suppliers step in to fill the gap.

That isn't progress, its control.

Hunting isn't cruel, it is conservation. It funds wildlife management, keeps ecosystems balanced, it feeds families, it is a part of who WE are.

If we allow policies like IP28 to pass without serious scrutiny, then we are just forfeiting our rights. Oregon thrives, when our farmers and ranchers thrive, and when hunters and outdoorsmen are respected and valued, not villanized.

We can protect animals without destroying local agriculture. We can improve standards without compromising tradition. We can modernize without erasing our heritage.

That requires balance, not controlling measures, written without the input of the people most affected. We must prevent IP28 from ever seeing the light of a ballot.

This isn't Red versus Blue, its local versus the disconnected. Stop IP28.

Please copy paste. This will devastate the ranchers and farmers in Oregon.
