Campers all loaded up on their “bus” yesterday, trying to stay cool before the head to Freezer Camp (It’s much cooler there) !!!!! We still have hogs available from this date!!! I know it’s repetitive but be the master of your own food security. If the 10k dead cows in Kansas didn’t scare you or the 205k egg layers euthanized in Colorado doesn’t have you seeing that food is going to get stupid expensive, I don’t know what will. Well another beautiful day in God’s Country - Pasture Chickens are getting fat, Pasture Hogs are already fat - I’m getting my farmers tan!!!!! Now for the negative - Dow dropped 880 points, gas here in my town is $5.29 per gallon and A loaf of cheap bread at Walmart is over $2!!!! I didn’t have the foresight to look in the meat coolers because my freezers are filled with Healthy Pasture Raised Pork and Chicken!!! Something not about animals but still farm related - got all my fruit trees in finally. 8 apple trees, 4 pear trees, 2 cherry trees and 2 Hazelnut trees. Our hogs are pasture raise on dirt (Mud today) and feed only local high quality hog feed from a local feed mill and whatever mast, roots, seeds and other things they can find from there pasture. Occasionally they are also feed excess from whatever other crop is coming ripe on the farm at the time. Our hogs are given no hormones, no antibiotics and no steroids so there is no residual in their meat. We also do not feed any human food to our feeders as to not inadvertently feed them those things or the other nasty chemicals in normal processed food.

We currently have 2 hogs left for the May 19 freezer camp date and after that we may be increasing prices due to the 25% raise in the cost of feed, so if you’re looking for a great deal on amazing meat now is the time

We are only currently selling by Halves and Whole Pigs. We are $4 per lb (Hanging Weight) for a whole hog and $4.50 per lb for half hogs - PM for detail if you are interested

Grocery prices are expected to “explode” going into this summer as fuel increases and trucking becomes more and more expensive. Store shelves are already empty in a lot of places and meat are prices are crazy. Ensure you’re supply of meat by buying a Pasture Raised Pig from Us. Enjoying the lull before the storm !!!!! I think the bacon it’s are looking forward to the snow storm. These lite demons are eating 120 lbs or so of good high quality local feed per day - still have freezer campers available. No hormones, no antibiotic, no preservatives or other garbage!!!!! Meat prices are higher then recent memory and only going to get higher with the current level of global turbulence. That being said, we still have whole and half hogs available for the March 15 through April 30th freezer camp dates. Reserve your hog now and know you will have meat in your freezer.

Broken Row has pasture raised pork, raised on dirt in the open air. Our hogs receive no hormones, antibiotics or other medications. This meat is clean and pure. Our hogs eat only locally milled hog feed, local grown(unsprayed) hay and forest mast crops along with other fruit and garden scraps. Our pigs are happy and healthy which leads to healthy pork for our clients.
