🚨 Sour beer lover alert 🚨
When I started this beer I said I wanted to get back to some obnoxious ingredient sour beers like I did years ago. This one didn’t disappoint. It’s very sour. The PH is 2.8. 😳😳😳. And It’s very purple. And it tastes like sour trolli candy🫣🍻😍😍. Mt. Vernon Brewers Festival is a week away. You know what to do🍻

Da Juice is kegging today. I used Imperial A38 Juice for the first time. I’m excited for this one. It’s not been the same since Omega 403 was taken from the Homebrew community. Mt. Vernon Brewers Festival is where this one will be first. It’s also the last one I’ll keg so it’s all kegged and ready. Now we wait.

Threw a few kegs on the washer. Blending the Blueberry Lemonade shandy for the Mt. Vernon Brewers Festival today. The Trolli Candy Cane sour kegged yesterday. That one will be interesting. Second dry hop went into Da Juice yesterday as well. It’s all coming together. 🍻🍻see you soon.

Here’s another I’ll have at the Mt. Vernon Brewers Festival on 6/6. Blueberry lemon shandy. It’s been a few years since I’ve done this one. Bresse Fallfest was the last place I had this and it was a hit. I know I’ve said this before but get tickets for this event!!

How do you know it’s festival season at my house? 6am brewdays on a Sunday. Last one for Mt. Vernon Brewers Festival. Da Juice. I’m going to to try Imperial yeast A38 Juice for the first time. I’ve read great things about it. I have always used Omega 403 and ever since that was taken away from homebrewers this beer has struggled. I’m hoping to right the ship with this yeast. 🍻🍻

It’s been a little while since I’ve done a sour beer with obnoxious ingredients. How’s 5 pounds of trolli sour candy canes sound? I can tell you peeling 180~ candy canes isnt one of my favorite past times but I’m pumped to see how it lands. Mt. Vernon Brewers Festival is where this one will wind up if all goes well. 1 of over 100 reasons to get tickets before it sells out. 🍻🍻🍻

Big door up and a couple more for the Mt. Vernon Brewers Festival. Double batch of American light lager that will be split 2 ways. 1 I’ll call “Beer”, and the other half of the split will Be Beer for Tacos. American light lager infused with fresh cut lines through my Randal

Hitting 1030-1032 starting gravity is the trick then amylase enzymes try dry it all the way out.

Did a Couple for the Mt. Vernon Brewers Festival today. Vienna lager and Berry’d InCider. Adding a twist to the cider that I’ve never tried before. The internet said it’ll work and you always believe what the internet says. 😆🍻🍻
