Update: short delay, the buckets will be out tomorrow (Thursday) morning. I’m too short to put up the canopy by myself!

Today’s walk about found these beauties! These are just one of each of the many that are in the field!

bouquets are $10- text me and tell me: red, orange, yellow or pink! The flowers are beautiful and it breaks my heart they just sit in the field. Tell me when you would like to pick it up. I will cut the flowers fresh that day.

If you want to make your own or just want flowers - I will cut buckets of sunflowers, zinnias, bells of Ireland, and filler for the roadside stand tomorrow morning (Thursday). Each stem will be either $.25 or $.50. Jars (vases! ) - $1.00

To whomever stopped by and didn’t catch us, I saw you and was coming in from the back field. I’m sorry. We were still cleaning up damage from the flooding. To those that stopped and brought something today! Thank you!

Here’s the wagon from the loss in the field! We still have plenty of sunflowers! Many are non traditional colors!

If you need large quantities, I can cut them and have them ready ! If you want flowers to build your own bouquets, I can do that too!

While cleaning the sunflowers up, I ran into our resident bunny, he was relaxing in the flowers, and found some beauties hidden among the chaos.

Tomorrow’s bouquets could include Gladiolus, a multitude of fresh cut sunflowers, ge**er daisys, some of the Most beautiful zinnias I’ve ever grown, snap dragons and bells of Ireland and salvia.

A bucket of still near perfect sunflowers will be put in the morning Friday - these are from the storm and need a home.

Due to the field flooding on Tuesday, we apologize for not having any flowers at the stand on Wed. Our concern is getting things cleaned up quickly.

You can call 3304152503 or text to order an arrangement/bouquet to be picked up. If someone doesn’t answer, please leave a message with your name, number, what you’d like to order $15 or $25 and when you’d like to pick it up.

We still have flower shares left for the year.

There will be a bucket of sunflowers out Friday for donation. These will still be as good as the rest, but from damaged plants. I don’t want them to go to waste.

As long as weather holds and we can clean up some Thursday, there will be fresh cut sunflowers and bouquets for purchase.

Weekly Update

Mother Nature has decided I cannot put flowers out today or tomorrow. However, I have a bucket of sunflowers harvested and ready to sell. I have flowers harvested that are ready to be in an arrangement!

This week special I have gladiolus and ge**er daisy’s just waiting to be enjoying someone’s desk or dining table.

Give me a ring or text if you prefer. I will whip your bouquet up for you to pick up.

Call or text - do you want some sunflowers? I can have them ready for pick up!

Wednesday, some premade items will be at the roadside stand!

Let me drop a little bit of overall information about what’s happening here at the farm this season.

When you purchase from a roadside stand or pre-order from a local farm, you are investing in your community.

You’re supporting the people who grow the flowers, care for the land, and work to keep a small local farm going.

And when you buy locally grown flowers, you know that they were grown right here, harvested right here, and are going home with you fresh from the field. 🌱💐

So, here’s what we have going on at Apple Blossom Acres!

🌻 SUNFLOWERS

We’re growing sunflowers in so many different colors and varieties this year!

Fresh sunflowers will be available at our roadside stand:

🌻 Monday mornings
🌻 Wednesday mornings
🌻 Saturday mornings

And if you need a larger quantity, we’re offering:

🌻 Bulk sunflowers — just $0.50 per stem with pre-order.

Perfect for events, decorating, parties, weddings, or anyone who just wants A LOT of sunflowers! 😊

💐 FLOWER ARRANGEMENTS

Need a bouquet but don’t want to make one yourself?

We can make arrangements for pickup:

Small — $15
Large — $25

We’re currently able to take up to 5 arrangement orders at a time, so pre-ordering is recommended.

🌸 FLOWER CSA

If you’d like fresh flowers on your table throughout the season, we’re offering two CSA options:

FULL SHARE — $160
🌸 10 bouquets + as many as we can get before it frosts
🌸 Weekly pickup

HALF SHARE — $80
🌸 4 bouquets
🌸 Every other week

Pickup days are:

Wednesday | 4–7 PM
Saturday | 9 AM–1 PM

You can pay when you pick up, but you must register and complete the CSA form first.

✂️ CUT-YOUR-OWN FLOWERS

We’re also allowing cut-your-own flowers this year!

However, this year it will be by reservation only.

If you’d like to come out and cut your own flowers from the field, contact us and we’ll arrange a time.

🌼 WHAT’S GROWING?

The flower field is going to keep changing throughout the season, but you’ll be seeing:

🌿 …and plenty more!

And we’re planning to keep those flowers coming right through first frost in October, as long as Mother Nature cooperates.

First flower arrangements are going out in the morning! Along with a small bucket of sunflowers! Sunflowers are $1 a stem. Arrangements are $15 this size for now. The QR code for Venmo will be available at roadside. As always cash is gratefully accepted also. If you return your vase, you get $2 off the next arrangement…
