Elberta Peaches from our Orchard! πŸ‘
The Improved Elbertas are the last variety we get from orchard (we will get peaches from other local farms for a little longer). We only have the Elberta peaches available by the 20lb box. They are $44.89/20lb box.
Elberta peaches are a light yellow peach with very little blush or red coloration, and because of that they bruise easily. Which is why we dont have them available by the pound or by the basket.
These peaches are an older variety. A favorite for canning. They are freestone and make delicious canned peaches or peach jam. You can also use them for fresh eating if your feeding a crowd!
So, stop on by to get a box of the last peaches from our orchard for the season! πŸ‘

Its the start of pear season! 🍐
Bartlett pears are always the first pear variety of the season, and these are fresh from our orchard! Bartlett pears are a great fresh eating pear, and go lovely in a summer salad. They are also a preferred variety for canning!
How do you know if a pear is ripe? Do a neck check! For all pears you can use the neck rule. Gently press your thumb against the neck or stem of the pear, and if you feel a little give, that means its ripe. Another trick is that green skinned pears like the Bartlett will lighten in color as they ripen. Going from green to a yellow-green color.
So, stop on by to get some tasty pears! 🍐

Suncrest peaches from our orchard are in season! πŸ‘ This is a crowd favorite variety!
What sets this variety apart from some of the other varieties that we grow is their size and that they are freestone. It also helps that they taste delicious too.
Free stone means that they come off the pit really easily. Making them an ideal variety for canning, freezing or preserving. They are great for fresh eating too!
Suncrest is the second to last variety we have from our orchard. So, don't miss out on them while their here!
