Mom told me I should probably borrow some brain cells from my sister so I can figure out how to use my uterus.

Okay… but was there a manual for this uterus situation that nobody gave me?! 🎀

Was there a class?

A study guide?

A group project?!

Because apparently everyone expects me to just KNOW what to do with this thing and I’m standing here like…
"Wait… this is going to be on the test?" 👁️👄👁️
I asked if we could form a study group, but Mom said that’s not exactly how breeding works.

Which feels incredibly unfair.

Anyway, I’m going to focus on my strengths: being pretty, looking fabulous, and showing up with a positive attitude. 💅

The uterus can figure out the rest.

🚨 A STATEMENT FROM OTIS 🚨

It has recently come to my attention that Mom posted a video featuring the whole herd.
Except apparently “whole herd” is a loose term these days… because I WAS NOT IN IT.

Me. Otis.

Forgotten like a reusable grocery bag in the trunk. Tossed aside like yesterday’s hay. Erased from history like I was merely a background extra in a production where I am very clearly leading-man material. 😑

At first, I was offended. Devastated, really. My ego crumbled like a stale animal cracker.
I considered contacting an attorney.
I considered leaving the farm.

Then I remembered meals are provided here, so obviously that was ridiculous.

Mom has assured me that my absence was nothing more than an honest editing mistake and not an indication of my standing within the herd. She has since apologized profusely and made appropriate reparations.

And by reparations, I mean treats.

Many treats.

So, after careful consideration—and a snack-based mediation process—I have decided not to pursue legal action at this time.

Mom and I are good. ❤️

But let this serve as a gentle reminder:
You can forget your keys. You can forget to switch the laundry. You can even forget why you walked into a room.

But you do NOT forget Otis.

I am not a goat who simply blends into the scenery.

I AM the scenery.

Apology accepted, Mom. 🐐😌

I would say Cheese is adjusting well to the house cat life. He's sleeping out in the "wild" for the first time... aka not under the bed and he's purring so loud I can hear him before I can see him. Meanwhile, Hunter has moved out to the catio and refuses to come back inside to face reality of being a big brother.

After making everyone wait approximately 84 years, I have officially decided to come into heat. You’re welcome. 😂
This morning I went in for my first progesterone test and landed at 0.8 — which apparently is a perfect little starting point. ⭐️
I go back Thursday morning, where we’re hoping to see that number start climbing. 📈

🐾🏡 Official Catio Inspection Committee Report: Approved.

Today, Mr. Binx and Hunter got to test out the mostly finished catio before Cheddar, Mac & Cheese make their big move into the house. I'd say it was a success! Sunshine, fresh air, birds to supervise, and plenty of cozy spots to lounge... what's not to love?
Binx's thoughts: "This is acceptable. I have surveyed the perimeter, sniffed every corner, and can confirm there are approximately 47 birds that require my immediate supervision. I still haven't caught one... but they definitely know I'm watching." 😼

And we have even more exciting news! 🎉 The kittens' f***l results came back clean, which is one more big milestone checked off on their journey to becoming full-time house cats! 🧡

They're getting closer and closer to trading in barn life for cat trees, window naps, and endless opportunities to annoy their new big brothers. (Sorry, Binx and Hunter... your peaceful days are officially numbered. 😂)

I don't know who's more excited... me or the kittens. 🥹💕
