Claudia’s friend Katie hopping on here to tell you about last week’s annual event that I know many of you love and look forward to like we do!
In past years I was privileged to witness this first-hand as Claudia invited me to bring my volunteers and families from our non profit to cut, arrange and take flowers from Les & Claudia’s farm of 50 years to nursing homes and care facilities around the valley. It was one of our favorite feel good events of the year (we called it “Flower Power Day”!) and it was facilitated completely by the generous contribution of Les & Claudia’s stunning flowers.
The past two years Dyan & Allie and other members of their family have graciously taken on the give away tradition. This year they yet again cut hundreds of flowers arranged them in bouquets and took them to residents who, upon receiving a bouquet felt seen, thought of and loved. And - like all the years before - everywhere the bouquets went smiles & sunshine seem to linger, too. 🌺 🥰
