I forged this camp knife from Texas Edition Chevy Silverado leaf spring, blackened it, and fitted it with black walnut scales cut from our own homestead. Soon, it will be making its way to Tormek to use in their sharpening tool demos.

This Thai-inspired variation on the billhook was hand-forged from a railroad track anchor clip, and mounted to a hickory shovel handle, with a simple 1/4in bolt to lock it in place. This piece is a donation, and purely utilitarian, but my wife and I put it to the test and it certainly gets the job done!

These blackened jifa/kanzashi (Okinawan hairpins) were hand-forged from reclaimed racecar coil spring. Traditionally, these would have been made from gold, silver, or wood, but they were also used as self-defense tools, and I feel that spring steel is a better material for that.
