September's Rising Tide Music Series will hopefully lift up Chaffee Cycle Collective significantly. They've helped us secure live music permits for lots of great shows this month (check the calendar for all the acts). And to show our gratitude, we'll be raising money during each show. Please add on some money when closing your credit card tab, drop some cash in the pitchers, or scan the QR code on the info sheets that we'll have out during the shows.

Chaffee Cycle Collective is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is community-powered and is dedicated to advancing equitable access to affordable bicycles, repair services, and mechanical education. They exist to strengthen the social, economic, and environmental well-being of Chaffee and nearby residents by promoting sustainable, human-powered transportation and empowering people - especially those excluded from cycling spaces - with the skills and resources to ride and repair confidently.

They are a relatively new non-profit formed in our community, and we strongly believe in what they are doing and planning to do. Please give them a follow, and please contribute to this month's fundraiser to show them your appreciation for helping keep the live music rocking at Tres Litros.

September is here and we are excited to announce some great shows and events that we have lined up for the month. As we roll into fall, keep us in mind for great tunes and great times. Our September shows will all be fundraisers for Chaffee Cycle Collective, so please help us raise a bunch of money for this somewhat new, but very important, local non-profit.

We are ecstatic to welcome The Sweet Lillies back to our stage for the second time. It’s been several years since they made their Tres Litros debut, and we’ve missed seeing them. Their music is first and foremost heartfelt and collaborative. Those defining traits are given life by the quartet of musicians who make up the Lillies.Together they have combined their individual strengths to deliver powerful narratives of life in song. With their lineup of guitar, viola, upright bass, drums, washboard, djembe and ethereal vocal harmonies that float like a dream, the Sweet Lillies’ music has a hard hitting original flavor with a forward looking eye. They have incorporated all of their cumulative life experiences into their music, songwriting and artistry, crafting an uncommonly beautiful style which is a nod to the band’s all encompassing musical tastes and willingness to experiment with genres ranging from folk and rock all the way to hip-hop.

Photon is an original progressive jazz-fusion, jamtronica, and electronic dance band based out of Denver. They blend live instrumental improvisation, synth-heavy funk, and progressive rock. This is their Salida debut and we can’t wait to see them rock our taproom. The band is made up of some heavy hitters in the Denver music scene, including keyboardist Jimmy Dunstan (YAMN, DAMN RIGHT, Spontaneous Underground), versatile guitarist, composer, producer and educator Tim Wendel, bassist Dan Africano (Thievery Corporation, Ghost Light, John Brown’s Body) and drummer Neal Evans (Dopapod, Elephant Wrecking Ball). Blending sounds reminiscent of The New Deal, Medeski Martin and Wood, and Tycho, Photon will take you on a contemplative dance journey. Be ready for a night of infectious house beats and virtuosic instrumental story-telling.

A little citrus. A little tropical. A little old-school hop attitude.

Leaf Peepin' is an American Pale Ale that is packed with grapefruit and mango, with a little malty sweetness to balance out the hops. It finishes dry and resinous with that classic American Pale Ale character we can't seem to get enough of.

Known for his role with Crested Butte jamgrass band, Floodgate Operators , Scott Stewart is no stranger to Tres Litros. This will be the first time, however, that Scott will bring his solo show to our stage. This singer, songwriter, flatpicker has been touring his solo act a lot in the last two years, so we know he’ll bring a great show full of fun covers and originals spanning the country, western and bluegrass genres. This Sunday showtime will be from 5-8pm, so mark your calendars and make sure you don’t miss special performance.

We missed having Sun Jr. play our stage during FIBArk Saturday in June, but were stoked to see them play the main stage for a huge audience. Now that it’s been over a year since we’ve hosted them, we are more excited than ever to have them back. They’ve released a new album since their last Tres Litros show and if you haven’t listened to it yet, what are you waiting for? It’s full of great songs and captures their vibe perfectly. If you’ve never seen Sun Jr. before, please make it a point to come to this show, because their Psych-Mountain Rock is unique and they’ve grown quite a following throughout their years of shows in Salida.
