Meet Pizza Professional Emma Cozart!

Born in Durango, Emma made her way to Salida to be close to family . . . and we're really glad she did.

Her go-to order? The T-Guns. Cream cheese, spicy jalapeños, and all that flavor make it a hard one to beat. We get it, Emma.

What does Emma love most about working at Moonlight? The people. Her coworkers are friendly, the sense of community is real, and it just makes this a great place to be.

A fun fact you might not know: Emma is currently working on a tattoo internship. Moonlight by day, tattoo artist in the making by night.

If she had to describe herself in three words? Hardworking, kind, and a little bit of a rebel.

And if she could swap roles with anyone at Moonlight for a day, she'd choose Jacob . . . to see what it really feels like to run this place.

It's that time of year again! Applications for our 2027 Moonlight Mondays & Summer Fundraising season are officially open. 🌙

From September to May, every other Monday, we donate 10% of our sales to support the people, causes, and initiatives working to make a real difference — and for two weeks after each Moonlight Monday, customers can keep the momentum going by adding donations directly to their checks.

During the summer, when we're not hosting Moonlight Mondays, our Summer Fundraising Program offers a two-week giving period exclusively for youth-focused and school-based organizations.

Applications are open through 9/30, with recipients chosen by random drawing to keep it fair for everyone, and announced by 10/15.

Here's a little : this one's named for the lake sturgeon — the giant freshwater fish of the Great Lakes that were easiest to catch this time of year, and a key food source for the Native American tribes who named it. Meet Pizza Professional Jacie Tyler!

Originally from Kansas City, Kansas, Jacie's family moved to Denver in 2017 — and just this past February she made the leap to Salida to do life with her amazing partner. We're really glad she landed here.

Her go-to order? Mama's Pesto Chicken sandwich dipped in our Caesar dressing. She says our house-made pesto is amazing and the Caesar adds a delicious twist. And, honestly, we're taking notes. 😉

What does Jacie love most about working at Moonlight? The people. Both the guests she gets to take care of and her awesome coworkers.

A fun fact you might not know: Jacie loves going to concerts. Getting to let loose, dance, and sing with other people who love music just as much? That's her happy place.

If she had to describe herself in three words? Friendly, energetic, and ambitious.

Outside of work, Jacie loves community service (caring for her community just feels good, in her words) and experimenting in the kitchen. The girl loves a good meal.

And if she could swap roles with anyone at Moonlight for a day, she'd want to experience being one of our head managers — because leading, teaching, and guiding others comes naturally to her.

We're so lucky to have Jacie as part of the Moonlight family! 💛
