Today’s the day! We are excited to welcome everyone to the Don Johnson Bull Sale tonight at Farmers and Ranchers in Salina.

Bull sale weekend is here! The bulls made the trek south for a beautiful day to get settled in Salina. They are available for viewing at Farmers & Ranchers Livestock all weekend. We are looking at another comfortable day tomorrow, and we’ll be happy to walk through them Sunday with you in the cooler temperatures. Docility and comfortable cattle have been a priority in our operation. In Don’s eyes, good demeanor was a requirement to be a good cow. While we love that for 364 days of the year, video day can get a bit too comfortable😅… as shown in this video of Lot 35.

We encourage you to come see them in person, and as you can tell, it’s not going to be a problem for the boys. If you can’t make it in person, our best videos for all angles and foot structure will come out in the pen.

The bulls are available for viewing in Columbus, NE through Thursday, February 26th. Reach out to Linda to schedule a time or video request.

Beginning on Saturday, February 28th, the bulls can be viewed at Farmers & Ranchers Livestock in Salina, KS. Linda or Lane will be glad to walk through them with you there.

Lot 37 has been hard to fault his entire life. Awesome body shape and depth to his rib with growth that’s kept him in the top tier of this group. His strong breed character and depth to his chest ties it all together on this genuine herd bull.

His fault free kind is synonymous with his dam. With over a decade in production here, she’s placed 4 daughters in our herd and possess a WR of 105. Her balance, fleshing ability, and body shape is idealistic for us. Still rolling strong, she bred first round AI and has a full brother to this lot primed for next years sale.
