Hi Ladies!
We are so excited to have you spend Saturday evening with us for our Western country night!
WHAT TO BRING? a yoga/pilates mat for pilates- this will be in our arena on sand
Flat shoes/sandals, remember you are at a working farm so high heels will sink into the ground
Many of you have asked what a western theme looks like with pilates, here is our best suggestion! Wear active wear as you would for pilates and pair it with boots, a cowgirl hat, a bandana handkerchief, a western saying shirt or horse/cow print accessory. Remember you are coming to a farm, with that, we suggest long yoga pants as to avoid nats and bug bites from the evening air.
The event starts at 5pm! Dinner buffet, photo ops, mocktails/wine, and bouquet making are all complimentary.
Shopping our other vendors is as you would like.
6:15 Pilates will be taught by Kathy Clark (Instructor at Pilates & Society)
The event is held at 3650 Saline Waterworks Rd Saline, MI 48176- Salty Acres Homestead
PARKING: When you get here, you will park INSIDE the first pasture, there will be someone there to guide you. DO NOT park on the grass in front of the fences by the road, this is NOT our property and considered trespassing. You will then walk up the driveway to the barn area, dinner will be served on the front porch of the barn, picnic tables are available for seating.
DINNER: Dinner has gluten and dairy free options. Roast beef, chicken, roasted veggies, rice, salad, cornbread, and dessert. Our Mocktail is mint strawberry lemonade. Wine- moscato, sangria, and crisp white wine, coke & sprite, as well as water.
BOUQUET MAKING: Lily's flowers in saline is supplying our flowers for the evening, there should be enough stems for everyone to choose 10 stems for a bouquet and greenery:)
ANIMALS: It is encouraged to take photos and to pet animals, please do not feed them any human food. We will have animal specific and friendly treats for them. Please remember they have teeth, feed them snacks with an open flat hand and not your fingers. DO NOT OPEN OR GO INTO THE ENCLOSURES
Portable restrooms, recycle & garbage bins will be visible on sight for disposal, please do not throw any garbage in the pastures or leave it in the barn as this could be harmful to the animals
