This is a post that I hate to write, and one that I have dreaded making.
After a lot of prayer, thought, and consideration, I have decided that December 31st, 2026 will be the last and final day for Smoke Showing BBQ & Southern Cuisine.
Due to my health issues, and some news I received yesterday, I have made the difficult decision to close the catering side of the business. While this decision was not easy, I know it is the right one for myself and my family moving forward.
To all of the clients I already have booked for this year — thank you for trusting me to be part of your events. Y’all will be my final customers, and I truly appreciate your support of this small business.
To my loyal customers over the past 5 years, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Without y’all, none of this would have been possible. From plate sales, to catering events, to simply sharing and supporting my business — every single bit of support meant more than you know.
Before we officially close the doors, we will still be doing a few more plate sales throughout the year, so stay tuned for those. And don’t worry — I’m not quitting BBQ completely. I’ll still be making my BBQ sauce and taking sauce orders, because as most of y’all know, I usually keep gallons of it on hand anyway.
Again, thank you all for the love, support, encouragement, and business over the years. Smoke Showing BBQ & Southern Cuisine has been more than just a business to me — it’s been a blessing. ❤️
