Friday morning, we had the privilege of hosting some students from the Virginia Tech Agriculture Technology program at the farm 🌱

We discussed the history of the farm, the ins and outs of what keeps a sod farm running, the importance of crop rotation for field health, and what we’ve learned over 23 years of growing sod. 🚛

Our next generation of farmers is in good hands as they start their journey as Hokies! 🧡

We appreciate all of our truck drivers for dedicating their time to ensuring our sod arrives safely and efficiently, through long nights and days on the road 🌱

Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🙏

Today is a day to honor the hard working men and women here on the farm. Whether you see them on a tractor, in the shop, or in the office - they are each an integral part of what keeps us moving forward 🌱

We thank our farmily and all the other hard working folks who help us each and every day 🇺🇸
