Sometimes people see a farm stand and only see the bread, vegetables, flowers, or baked goods. What many don’t realize is that Annie’s Farm Stand became so much more than that for our family.
Annie started this journey at just 10 years old during one of the hardest seasons of her life. What began as a simple little stand slowly became healing.
It became confidence rebuilding itself one customer at a time. It became early mornings, flour-covered counters, garden dirt under her nails, and nervous conversations slowly turning into confidence. It became a place where a little girl could learn how to smile again.
Through anxiety, bullying, heartbreak, and trauma no child should have to carry, this stand gave Annie something peaceful to pour her heart into. Something she could nurture. Something she could be proud of. And over the last three years, so many of you watched her bloom into the hardworking, kindhearted young lady she is becoming.
Before farm stands and home bakers seemed to pop up everywhere, Annie was already out here working in the summer heat, baking late into the night, planting gardens, setting up tables, and learning what it means to truly work for something you love.
This was never about competition or being the biggest. It was about community. It was about healing. It was about heart.
Every loaf of sourdough, every cinnamon roll, every bouquet, every vegetable picked from the garden carried a piece of her story with it.
As Father’s Day weekend marks the closing of the stand , Annie wants every single person who supported her over the last three years to know how deeply grateful she is.
Every purchase, every shared post, every encouraging word, every returning customer mattered more than you know.
You weren’t just supporting a farm stand. You were helping a little girl believe in herself again.
And that is something we will never forget. 🩷
