Thank you! 🙏🏼

THIS SATURDAY, our Pines to Pantry donations will support Adopt A Block, Salisbury.

Every week at the Ocean Pines Farmers & Artisans Market, your generosity helps us share the bounty. This week, all Pines to Pantry donations will go to our friends at EWC Adopt-A-Block Outreach, Inc.

Their mission is simple and powerful: Find a need, fill it. Find a hurt, heal it.

Adopt-A-Block is an outreach ministry of Emmanuel Church in Salisbury that started in 2014 with a pickup truck and a handful of volunteers who wanted to share love with their neighbors on Church Street. For over ten years, volunteers have walked door-to-door delivering bags of fresh food, and along the way they’ve prayed with neighbors, delivered beds and clothing, made home repairs, painted over graffiti, hosted Thanksgiving distributions, and provided Christmas gifts to over 350 homes.

In 2024, they opened their client-choice pantry and outreach center at 818 Benny Street in Salisbury, in the heart of the neighborhood where it all began. From there, they now serve families across Wicomico, Worcester, and Somerset Counties, not only with quality food, but by connecting neighbors with health, legal, and social services.

Food insecurity is growing in our region, and they never want to turn anyone away.

How you can help this Saturday:
Stop by the Pines to Pantry wagon at White Horse Park (239 Ocean Parkway, 8am-1pm) and donate fresh produce, baked goods and artisan foods contributions purchased from our merchants. Every item stays local and goes directly to families who need it.

Let's show what our market community can do when we come together.
