Job Title: Cashier
Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, dependable Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, provides excellent customer service, and helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
Responsibilities:
* Greet customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
* Operate the cash register and accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions.
* Answer customer questions and provide assistance as needed.
* Stock shelves and replenish merchandise.
* Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well-maintained.
* Clean checkout areas, restrooms, and other assigned areas.
* Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries.
* Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
* Work as part of a team to provide an excellent shopping experience.
Pay starts at $13.50 an hr.
Qualifications:
* Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic math and cash-handling skills.
* Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
* Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
* Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required—we’re willing to train the right candidate.
