Pigs in a blanket walked so pigs in a pretzel could run. 🔥

Ingredients
• Crescent roll dough
• Cocktail sausages or hot dogs, cut into pieces
• Dijon mustard
• 4 cups water
• 2 tbsp baking soda
• 1 egg, beaten
• Maldon salt

Beer Cheese
• 2 tbsp butter
• 2 tbsp flour
• ½ cup beer
• ½ cup milk
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• ½ tsp onion powder
• ½ tsp smoked paprika
• 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• Salt & pepper to taste
• 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:
Wrap: Brush crescent roll dough with Dijon, wrap around cocktail sausages, and seal.

Boil: Simmer in a baking soda bath for 20–30 seconds, then transfer to a wire rack.

Finish: Brush with egg wash, sprinkle with Maldon salt, and bake on the Traeger until golden brown.

Beer Cheese: Melt butter, whisk in flour, beer, and milk. Add Dijon, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and whisk in cheddar until smooth.

Serve hot with plenty of beer cheese for dipping.

Dad deserves a great steak. 🥩🔥

And when it comes to cooking one, we're team reverse sear.

Why? Because it gives you the best of both worlds: edge-to-edge doneness and a crust that's packed with flavor.

Starting low and slow allows the steak to cook evenly from edge to edge, creating that beautiful wall-to-wall pink interior instead of a gray overcooked band around the outside, AND you get the bonus of the Traeger's signature wood-fired flavor.

Once the steak is nearly at your target temperature, finish it over high heat to trigger the Maillard reaction—the chemical process responsible for that deep brown crust, rich flavor, and steakhouse-quality appearance.

One last tip: let it rest before slicing.

Resting gives the juices time to redistribute throughout the meat instead of running onto your cutting board. A few extra minutes of patience means a noticeably juicier steak.
