This is baklava for the 21st century. By using eclectic flavor combinations, our baklava is distinctive, decadent, and an unorthodox twist on a traditional favorite. Our customers are “Foodies” who like to step out of the box and try new things. Quality is very important to them because they have a refined palate. We use the finest ingredients and offer Vegan/Gluten Sensitive options. Family and c
onnection are very important to the owners as well as the customers. Each baklava flavor is imbued with its own personality and has its own home at a café or restaurant. Our intention is not to flood the market with the same product in various locations, but to customize a baklava flavor to its home (café). The cafés and restaurants are destination points for our customers to travel to in order to experience each new culinary adventure. Participating in our “Caravan ride” of flavors, our patrons travel to these different cafés to experience each distinct flavor personality who are affectionately referred to as The Tribe. In effect, the customers become part of our tribe and family. Having a strong family background in Baklava, our baklava is a favorite in Martha Stewart’s Kitchen and our recipe was published in Everyday Food, November 2008. My mother took my Turkish grandmother’s recipe and modified it to what it is today. In 1994,It was recognized by Rhode Island Monthly as the Best in RI. Our baklava was first introduced in Salt Lake City at the Pioneer Park Farmers market the summer of 2005
