Jeff Reynolds is the Founder and CEO of Sensapure Flavors, a Utah-based flavor house built specifically for active lifestyle, sports nutrition, functional beverages, and beverage brands. Sensapure was created to solve a problem Jeff saw repeatedly in the nutrition industry: most flavor houses can make great flavors, but few understand how those flavors perform inside aggressive functional formulations. Pre-workouts, protein powders, hydration products, energy systems, RTD beverages, and other active lifestyle products often contain ingredients that are bitter, salty, metallic, earthy, or otherwise difficult to flavor. That disconnect can cost brands time, money, launch momentum, and repeat purchase.
Under Jeff’s leadership, Sensapure combines flavor chemistry, application expertise, sensory evaluation, product development, flavor matching, masking technologies, and in-house production to help brands create outstanding products in weeks, not months. The company began as the flavor applications department for a major nutritional supplement manufacturer before being spun off as a standalone flavor house in 2017.
