Have you tried beef tallow??
Beef tallow is rendered beef fat, and it’s one of those old kitchen staples that’s making a comeback!
You can use it for:
* Frying potatoes or veggies
* Cooking eggs
* Searing steaks or burgers
* Replacing oil or butter in some recipes
* Making flaky biscuits or pie crusts
It has a rich flavor, handles higher cooking temperatures well, and a little goes a long way.
Some people also use beef tallow for homemade soaps, balms, and skin moisturizers!
We now have grass-fed beef tallow from Little Mountain Farm & Cattle Co. at The Butchers Corner. 🤩 Give it a try!
