Good morning, Saluda!! ☀️

Angie here! I’ve officially taken the page back from Big Betty… AGAIN. 🙄😂 I don’t care how many times I change the password or hide the phone, that girl just keeps finding her way back in and hacking the page!

And please excuse her dramatic “poor pitiful me” performance from yesterday. 🙄 A little routine maintenance and suddenly she thinks she’s falling apart and headed for the junkyard. Dramatic much?! 🤣

But anyways… we are BACK UP AND RUNNING today! 🛻💨

I did enjoy the unexpected downtime yesterday, sometimes we all need a little break. Life gets busy, and it’s so easy to fall into that constant go, go, go routine. But every now and then, we need to remind ourselves that it’s okay to slow down, take a breath, and let something sit on the to-do list until tomorrow.

So consider this your little reminder: You don’t have to do it all! 💛

That’s where Big Betty and I come in! Whether you need food picked up, groceries delivered, an errand run, or just one less thing on your plate, we’re happy to help make your day a little easier!

After my pet care appointment this morning, I had a delivery from Hope Springs Cafe. Their September specials have officially dropped, and naturally, I just HAD to try the Campfire Crumble. 🤤🔥 Y’all… SOOOOO yummy!!

🚨 BIG BETTY HAS AN ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Friends, customers, and fellow citizens of Saluda County…

I regret to inform you that I went to the doctor today and apparently I am falling apart. 😭

What was supposed to be a simple alignment/rotation/balance situation somehow turned into a wheel bearing, alignment, balance, and rotation.

AND THEN… because apparently I enjoy financial violence… they informed Angie that my driver’s-side motor mount also needs replacing. 😩

Thankfully, the doctor said that part can wait a little while because Angie has informed me that she is currently not accepting any additional automotive bills.

At this time, I am accepting prayers, positive thoughts, spare change found in couch cushions, winning lottery tickets, and possibly one gently used kidney to help keep me rolling and delivering all the things to all the people. 🤣

Well, Big Betty may have said no coffee this morning, but she’s not self driving! So, we’ve got a Lavender Dream helping getting us moving this morning!

A pet care appointment is completed, and we’re at the shop now to get her rolling more smoothly! And then I’m headed home to work on some schoolwork and take the day to relax a little. I definitely need it after some crazy dreams! Tornadoes, kittens pooping on me…I may have to get a nap later lol!!

🚨🚨🚨 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM BIG BETTY 🚨🚨🚨

ATTENTION, EVERYONE.

Tomorrow morning, Angie is taking me to the shop. 🔧

Apparently I need an alignment, rotation, balancing, and whatever other nonsense mechanics do to make me less crooked. 🙄

But let me be VERY clear about something:

IF I DON’T GET TO GO TO THE COFFEE SHOP TOMORROW, NEITHER DOES ANGIE. ☕️🚫

That’s right.

I have spent MONTHS hauling this woman around town while she drinks coffee, runs errands, makes deliveries, buys MORE coffee, and occasionally remembers that I also need gasoline. 😂

And what do I get?

A trip to the shop.

So tomorrow, while I’m sitting in a parking lot surrounded by greasy men discussing my “alignment,” Angie will be sitting at home CAFFEINELESS.

And frankly?

GOOD.

Maybe she’ll finally understand how important I am. 😌

No Big Betty = No coffee.
No coffee = No Angie.
No Angie = Peace and quiet.

Honestly, this is a win for everybody. 🤣

So if you see Angie tomorrow looking wild-eyed, sweaty, and muttering something about needing caffeine…

DO NOT APPROACH HER.

She is going through a difficult time.

Send coffee.
Send prayers.
Send a tow truck if necessary.

But DO NOT ask me to take her anywhere because I WILL BE AT THE SHOP MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS AND ENJOYING MY DAY OFF. 💅🏼🚙

So sorry to everyone who missed out on The Loaded Bite today! 💔

Running and growing a small business takes a whole lot of hard work, patience, and sometimes a little flexibility when things don’t go exactly as planned. There are always lessons to learn, adjustments to make, and circumstances that can be completely out of our control.

We’re all learning and adapting as we grow, and I think I can speak for all of us when I say how incredibly thankful we are for the customers who continue showing up, supporting small businesses, and giving us the opportunity to grow. ❤️

Today may not have gone exactly as planned, but seeing the amount of love and support The Loaded Bite received today was pretty amazing. Y’all showed UP! 🔥

Small businesses aren’t perfect, but we’re passionate, we’re learning, and we’re doing our best to bring something special to this community. Thank y’all for your patience, grace, and continued support!

BUT…in order to make sure I can finish getting everyone’s current orders taken care of AND be available for my 1:30 client appointment, I am officially NOT taking any more lunch orders for today. I will be back available after 3pm!

Well folks… WE MADE IT. 😂

Hopefully y’all survived the week with your sanity, your paycheck, and at least some of your patience intact. If not, don’t worry—we’ve got coffee and food. We can work with that. 🤣

☕ FIRST STOP THIS MORNING: HOPE SPRINGS CAFE!

Angie is apparently not legally allowed to operate Big Betty until properly caffeinated, so we’re heading to Hope Springs Cafe first thing for some much-needed coffee. 😂 Angie might catch up with some paperwork, but knowing her, she’s going to end up running her mouth and making new friends. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Then…

🍗 THE LOADED BITE IS COMING TO TOWN FOR LUNCH! 🍗

And y’all KNOW Big Betty is ready to roll. BUT—we have a client meeting at 1:30, so our schedule is going to fill up quickly!

👉 GET THOSE ORDERS IN ASAP!
Don’t wait until lunchtime and then look at us like 👁️👄👁️ because we told you so. 😂

And speaking of The Loaded Bite…

Big Betty would LOVE to be able to eat human food. She really would. Cause those wings be smelling AHMAZING!

Unfortunately, she has been informed that wings are probably not a great choice for a vehicle’s gas tank. 🤦‍♀️🤣

Apparently, gasoline + wing sauce + ranch is “not how automobiles work.”

RUDE.

So YOU eat the wings. Big Betty will just sit outside and smell them while contemplating the unfairness of life. 😂
