Honeysuckle Farm is for sale! The blizzard of January 2025 knocked out so many Satsuma trees that this is no longer a commercial citrus grove; but a few of the trees survived and this year they are loaded with fruit. We've also picked pears, peaches, nectarines, and plums from the young trees planted in the past 5 years: 2-4 trees of each; plus there are blackberry, loquat, apricot, apple, pecan, chestnut, and persimmon trees coming along, and a muscadine Vine producing near one of the two wells. This property has a large old shop, about 35x40', with concrete floor and metal siding, a 30x70' hoophouse greenhouse beside it, and two tiny shed homes in good condition attached to septic, water, and electric; each has insulation, water heater, bathroom, kitchen sink, and one has balcony-style lofts, a glass top range and a refrigerator. The property comes with two deep wells and extensive irrigation system, two farm cats, and two bee hives with bees. We have immensely enjoyed caring for this beautiful place and sharing/marketing its fruits, and hope to see it sell to a couple or family who will be doing homesteading/food forest/country living!
