Hello everyone! I was planning on setting up for April 4th to bring you guys some salsa and jams. I am sorry to say that I won't be able to. I got a really, nasty viral bronchitis in February and I am still dealing with it. I finally ended up at Urgent Care last week and got a double dose of steroids. I just don't have the energy to cook right now.

Hopefully, I will be feeling better soon and do want to plan to setup sometime soon. I might have to do it from my home. I will keep everyone updated. Love to you all, Kathy

I am in love with ChatGPT. I am getting ready to start cooking for Mann & Frau Country Store again. It has been so helpful and suggestive with wonderful ideas. I cannot wait to use the new info. Keep watching. I'm looking at doing something special for Valentine's Day.

Mein Plätzchen (My Cookie)

My Pops called me a few weeks back and asked me to make some cookies he could give to the ladies at the machine shop. He wanted the works. Oatmeal, raisins, chocolate chips and nuts. I came up with this amazing molasses and brown sugar cookie that had all of his wishes. For the nuts, I used slivered almonds.

That evening, after working outside all day, he called me. He told me, "These cookies are not sharing cookies. They have a new name." "Mine!" So these cookies are to honor him.

They are 1 oz. cookies made with the best quality ingredients and you can taste it. I need about 2 days notice to get them made.

Good morning! Happy Father's Day to all you Papa's out there. The kitchen is now open. My garden is growing like crazy. I have a healthy abundance of zucchini so this week, I'll be baking zucchini bread. These will be full loaves.

Pick up at my home or $2.00 local delivery.

We will not be able to be at the Rodeo this year. I've had an infection that was diagnosed around the first of February. I've had 3 rounds of oral antibiotics, a shot of antibiotics and finally an IV of antibiotics. I am finally clear but am seeing a specialist and having some additional tests run.

That being said, if you want some salsa, jam, jelly, bread, peanut brittle or other baked goods, I can make them for you. We live by the Coliseum so you could pick up before or after your time at the Fairgrounds. I will miss all of you so much. Good morning beautiful people! This week, we are offering 3 beautiful choices.

1. Dinkelbrot - This German bread is made with Spelt, Rye and Whole Wheat flour. $10.00 a loaf.

2. Zucchini Bread $8.00 a loaf. We were gifted with fresh zucchini so I thought I would pass it on.

3. Southern Living's Cream Cheese Banana Bread with or without nuts. $8.00 a loaf.

(This 8x8 delicious cobbler is made with 3 cups of peaches. 🍑)

Potato Salad Quart $10.00
(Oh my! 😍 Packed with flavor and great for the BBQ. We make ours with golden potatoes, dill pickles, onion and a creamy buttermilk dressing.)

German Coleslaw Quart $10.00
(Fresh cut purple and green cabbage with carrots in a vinegar dressing.)

For our bread selection this week, we'll be making Grandma's German White Bread. $8.00 a loaf.
