I’m not very religious, spiritual yes but religious not so much. My belief is to be a good man without a God or religion telling me I have to be, to show others love and respect without regard…. But in a time of need I want to call out to all those who are.
My boy Ra is sick and has been in the hospital for the last 2 days. He has an entire team caring for him and they are truly amazing, but I want to ask for all who are willing to please send prayers out for my boy, send good vibes to the universe, absolutely anything helps…… I want and need my baby boy to come home safe and into my arms again.

I love you Amun-Ra, and I’m never gonna quit on you so don’t stop fighting… come home to us, are family needs you

Ful, a simple dish served throughout the Middle East, but to me it’s a memory. A memory of my father who used to wake up and make it for me almost every Saturday or Sunday morning when I was a kid. I lost my father almost 17 years ago, but yesterday I saw his face again, felt his warmth surround me, and as I took each bite it brought me closer to his love. A memory tied to a flavor so strong it made me cry. Thank you Fouad, you gave him back to me….even if it was only for a moment.
