Well… San Antonio got one of our trucks.

One of our Leaky’s technicians was hit by an uninsured driver.

Police showed up, issued the driver a ticket, and while we were trying to get the information we needed, he apparently decided he had somewhere else to be.

So he left.

Now we’ve got a damaged truck, an uninsured driver, a police ticket, and a technician with one heck of a story.

Thankfully, our technician is okay.

The truck, however, has officially had a worse week than the rest of us.

At this point, owning Leaky’s service vehicles is starting to feel like its own extreme sport.

💧 Think you’d know if you had a water leak? Not always.

Some leaks make themselves VERY obvious. Others can quietly waste water for weeks before you realize there’s a problem.

Here are a few signs worth keeping an eye out for around your home:

🚰 Your water bill suddenly increases without an obvious reason.

👂 You can hear water running when all your faucets and appliances are turned off.

👀 You notice damp spots, staining or bubbling paint on walls, ceilings or floors.

👃 There’s a persistent musty smell you can’t seem to explain.

💧 Your water meter is still moving when you’re certain nothing in the house is using water.

Quick homeowner tip: Turn off everything that uses water in your home, then check your water meter. If it continues to register water use, it could be worth investigating further.

Catching a small leak early can prevent it from becoming a much bigger headache later. 🔧
