As a veteran-owned company, we run on a simple standard: take care of people the way you'd want your own family taken care of.

That means testing first, walking you through the results, and recommending the system that fits your water and your budget. Sometimes that's a full install. Sometimes it's a repair or a smaller fix.

Straight answers, every visit.

A quick one for everyone who already has a softener.

Your system uses salt to regenerate. When the brine tank runs low, hard water slips through, and the spots, film, and scale start creeping back. Lift the lid once a month and keep the salt above the water line. If you see a hard crust on top, that's a salt bridge, and we can help clear it.

Thirty seconds a month keeps your system doing its job.

Time for some myth-busting. "A filter will fix my hard water." Not quite!

Most filters target taste, odor, and chlorine. Hardness comes from dissolved calcium and magnesium, and removing those takes a softener. Many Texan homes benefit from both, which is exactly what a water test sorts out.

Right problem, right equipment.

October is Energy Awareness Month, and one of the easiest energy wins is hiding in your garage.

Hard water leaves a layer of scale on water heater elements and tank bottoms. That layer acts like insulation, so the unit runs longer to heat the same amount of water. Softened water keeps that layer from building up in the first place.

Lower bills start before the water ever gets hot.

Most people know San Antonio runs on the Edwards Aquifer. Fewer know it isn't the only source.

SAWS blends Edwards water with supply from other aquifers, and the mix reaching your home can differ by area. That's why two neighbors across town can see very different spotting, scale, and taste.

The only way to know your water is to test your water.

This September, we're offering free in-home water tests, but what does that test actually measure?

We check your water hardness in grains per gallon (GPG), chlorine levels, and total dissolved solids (TDS). Those three numbers tell us exactly what's happening in your home and what size and type of system would actually solve it: no generic, one-size-fits-all recommendations.

Know your numbers before you spend a dollar on a solution.

September is National Preparedness Month, and water is usually the first thing people think of when planning for an emergency, but hard water complicates it.

Mineral-heavy water can clog filtration systems faster and isn't ideal for long-term storage, since sediment settles over time. If your emergency plan includes stored or filtered water, starting with softened, treated water means it stays cleaner longer and won't damage the systems you're relying on.

Being prepared isn't just about having water; it's about having water you can actually count on.

Back-to-school season means refilling water bottles every morning, but what's actually going into them?

San Antonio's hard water can carry a noticeable mineral taste and higher chlorine levels depending on your neighborhood. For families sending kids off with a water bottle every day, a simple in-home filtration solution means cleaner-tasting water without relying on single-use plastic bottles.

Small change, better water, every single day.
