Good morning my family and friends! Once again, Nothing Fancy - great food on the go will be at the Alamo Ranch Pop Up Market this Saturday, December 12 starting at 10 am and going til 5 pm. Come on out and grab one of our "famous" Brisket Grilled Cheese or Brisket Frito Pie, both made with our juicy, slow smoked chopped brisket (no bbq sauce needed). 😊 There will be plenty of other vendors selling their crafts, food and drink. Bring out the family and enjoy your Saturday out at the "pop up"...hope to see you there!

Good afternoon everyone! I want to take the time to thank those of you who dropped by the Alamo Ranch Pop Up Market yesterday and supported our Nothing Fancy - great food on the go endeavor. It was good to see and catch up with you guys! The Brisket Grilled Cheese was our number 1 seller, we went through 8 loaves of bread. Our number 2 seller was the Brisket Frito Pie. I'll let you guys know next time that we're out there. A special shout out to one of the hardest working women I know, my sister Laura Salazar Ibarra. Thank you for putting this pop up together and allowing me and my family to share our great food with the public.

Come see me at the Alamo Ranch Pop Up Market this coming Saturday, December 5 from 10 am to 5 pm. For those of you who have been waiting for my Nothing Fancy brisket items, we will be serving my "famous" Nothing Fancy brisket grilled cheese, brisket tacos, brisket bowls and brisket frito pies...come get them while they last!!!

We are excited to announce Nothing Fancy - great food on the go will be at the Alamo Ranch Pop-Up Market Sunday November 15 with their famous taquitos 🌮 and Pica beans. These are not your typical taquitos, they definitely take it up several notches adding 4 meats, onions, cilantro and cucumbers. Come out and try “The Fat One”, you will not regret it!

It comes with great sadness that I announce that I sold my food truck yesterday. I just didnt have the time to take it out on the weekends with my djing and my son playing in baseball tournaments on weekends twice a month. Doesn't mean that I will no longer cook, I'll still do catering, actually closed on a big catering gig last week for April. When I retire, I'll look to do it again...congrats to the Garcia's from Garcia's Mexican Restaurant on their next venture! I want to thank each and everyone of you for coming out and supporting me and my food truck, I promise, I'll be back...

I want to take this time to thank all of you who took the time and chose to come out and eat at our food truck tonight...Arlene and I really appreciate it. We saw some familiar faces and quite a few new ones. We kicked ass even though there were 3 other food trucks there...have a great night everyone, hope to see you soon!!!

Briskets went in about an hour ago...11 more hours to go!!! Don't forget, Nothing Fancy will be out tomorrow evening from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the Triomphe Apartments. Come and get your Nothing Fancy fix while you can, because we probably won't be out again til late January or February!!!
