Well, it’s been almost a week since we closed up the Fredericksburg shop! Two years ago, we opened the doors to our little tasting room on Main Street and we had no idea what to expect. We knew we wanted to build our presence and continue sharing wine. It turns out we were building a home there too. We created a place where strangers became regulars, regulars became family, and so many of you became part of the Serrano story in ways we never expected.

We poured a lot of wine in that little house. But looking back, what we really poured into was a community. We had conversations and shared life moments. We watched football and listened to jams and got to share who we are. And we are excited to continue doing that moving forward.
So this is not a goodbye. This is a thank you for making that space special.

Fredericksburg gave us two incredible years, and we closed it out with everything we had. Now, we’re looking ahead to San Antonio, where the next chapter of Serrano is already taking shape. New space, same heart. Same wine, same welcome, just a new address.

To everyone who walked through that door in Fredericksburg, enjoyed a glass with us, or became part of the Serrano family along the way: thank you. This isn’t the end of anything. It’s just us packing up the good stuff and bringing it somewhere new.

But before we get there, thank you to Fredericksburg.💚

With so much love,
Sarah & Brice

(The side by side from our first and last day open are CRAZY to me… 2 years and 3 weeks separate those photos 😱)

This really snuck up on us. This weekend is the last one in our Fredericksburg tasting room!

It is a bittersweet break, and it’s hard to believe we’re already here, but it is time to close down the spot in Fred so we can pour our hearts into the next chapter, San Antonio!

But not to get ahead of ourselves, in this last weekend, we hope you can come by and share a glass, swap a story, and toast to everything this little tasting room on Main Street meant to us. We want to make sure to enjoy this time in Fredericksburg a little while longer with y’all. We would love nothing more than to send off our time here surrounded by the people who made it special!

Stay tuned for updates on our new spot in King William opening this Fall! Serrano Wine isn’t going away… we’re just adding more goodies to the mix. This page, plus our new shop page , will have all the updates as we move along with opening the new location.

In the time being, we will be traveling around and getting together with clubs members all over for private tastings, and if you’re interested in hosting a Serrano Wine night, make sure to reach out!

Something big is coming… 🍷🥂

We’ve spent years traveling through vineyards, sitting in barrel rooms, and tasting wines that stopped us in our tracks. We’ve always dreamed of sharing our experiences and passion for wine with others. For over ten years we have been able to share our personal project, Serrano Wine, with you. Now… we want to do even more.

This fall, our dream becomes a reality.

Highland House Wine Bar & Bottle Shop is coming to San Antonio’s King William Historic District.

This space will be a culmination of combined decades of studying and loving wine. Y’all already know we are going to go into this with the same intensity and Mamba Mentality that we take on every other project. You can expect a diverse wine list, with Serrano Wine as the house brand of course, joined by everyday favorites and hard-to-find cult wines. This place is meant to be a celebration of wine, the stories behind the bottles, and the community surrounding us.

Why “Highland House?” Well, Serrano is the Spanish term for Highlander… so it was only fitting.

Get ready San Antonio, we’re coming for you.
