🤎 New Brownie Recipe Loading 🤎

As I continue on this journey, I learn to make tweaks here and there to existing recipes to make them my own. And sometimes they happen by happy accidents, and sometimes they take strategic scientific dissecting. This version brownie version tho? Happy accident. I had a down to the grams science version I wanted to try. But this — this happy accident right here — exceeded my expectations.

My hope is to develop a brownie unmistakably unique, unmistakably fudgy, and really — unmistakably anyone else’s recipe. I want to make a brownie recipe worth gate keeping. I want a brownie that, even without labels and packaging, you can unmistakably say that it’s a L. Intentional Treats | San Antonio Cottage Baker & Vendor brownie. And as I continue to bake and tweak, I’ll be able to confidently slap my signature label on this.

Today’s brownie is getting closer and closer to a recipe that I’d only be willing to pass down to future generations 🤎

Got some restocking done on my extra day off!

One thing I’ve learned through my baking career is that if you find a brand you love in your recipe — stick with it. I can’t tell you how many batches of Rice Krispies it took to perfect my recipe — down to the brand and grams. My ingredients will most likely, never change.

I’m currently, however, revamping my fudge brownie recipe and excited to see how it turns out with these Kirkland chocolate chips make them turn out! Thank you girl gang for being my (involuntary volunteered) taste testers lol

💙 Back to School Treats 💙

My kiddo can’t wait to meet his new teacher and wanted to give her a gift. I decided to do what I do best, and make some treats! Dipping sourdough pretzel twists was much easier (somehow) than doing pretzel rods!

🎉 Announcement 🎉

Everyone — please welcome our newest employee!

L. Intentional Treats has offered and onboarded this 7 year old for the job of Junior Bakery Assistant. Due to his impressive interview & skill set (and his glowing reference recommendations, and of course— background check) he got the job!

He wanted to begin working immediately and I let him work on the same day as orientation! Impressive!

45 minutes later (and this recording) he pocketed $7.50 cold, hard cash! He’s going to buy some Nerf bullets, save some money for his Royal Rangers offering and offered to buy me McDonald’s.

Please welcome him to the team with me with likes and comments. He will read them all!

Last week I began handing out samples of my treats to spread awareness of L. Intentional Treats. 💕

I came up with this little sampler featuring half-sized The Good Crispies + The Good Fudge Brownies — two of my vendor favorites.

Now I want to know: where should I take them?
