Got up and walked 3 miles before church and on my walk I looked down and saw this. God knows what I’m privately wrestling with. What I’ve been unsettled about. Despite the smiles and jokes I get.

Finding this on my walk was just a beautiful reminder of what He’s been trying to tell me daily through scripture — despite this quote not being scripture. Your girl has been going through it — spiritually— and this is the settling I’ve been praying for.

Psalm 62:5 — “Rest in God alone, my soul, for my hope comes from him.”

🧡 Salted Caramel & Pretzel Chocolate Chip Cookies 🧡

Version 1 is done and I already know what Version 2 needs. As is, I’d rate these more chocolate chip leaning versus caramel leaning — but the next batch won’t be.

Overall, this is a pretty good cookie for the fall. The caramel inside the cookie + the pretzel + the salt and just 🧡🧡🧡 Perfect for fall!

🧡 Salted Caramel Pretzel Chocolate Chip Cookies 🧡

I may have to find a new name for this cookie but essentially — this is what you’re getting. Can’t wait for the final reveal. It’s giving — 🍂 It’s Fall Y’all 🍂 BUT in a cookie — without having to hop on the PSL trend.

Going through my best pecan recipes — like my pecan brownies. What do y’all think?

My Junior Bakery Assistant told me he was running low on funds and asked if there was any work. I said sure! After all, I was baking for Mengerita Tacos and needed some help!

🍪 Cookie Bar Packing 🍪

After the bridal shower, I still had to bake another pan of cookie bars to deliver this morning and the new packaging was well received. I’m thinking this will be my standard for my pan items, at least until I find something I like more lol

I’m very grateful… tired… but grateful for all of the recent baking orders. It really warms my heart knowing that I can share a piece of me with you. And that I can do it all through Him.
