Introducing the founders of MOO Farms and De Leon Cattle Company! Meet Carlos and Colleen De Leon. After raising kids in Idaho and an early retirement agreement, Carlos dreamed of a new challenging adventure. Little did the De Leon family know, they would be moving to the RGV and become ranchers none the less! Although not entirely new territory for Carlos seeing as he was born and raised in Brownsville, the rest of the family has only visited the RGV a handful of times. In other words, this isn’t only a new line of work but a new place of living for the family. Carlos aspires to grow and sell hay in addition to raising cattle. Colleen on the other hand, runs the farm while Carlos is working his new day job. She also aspires to sell free range eggs and other various items from the farmstead. Overall, the De Leon family is thrilled to be taking on this new endeavor and looks forward to sharing the journey with you!
