Join us tonight and every Thursday at 6:30pm for some challenging general-knowledge trivia, learn some interesting things along the way, hear a few really lame Dad Jokes from Mo, and enjoy the competition with some delicious deftly-crafted European-inspired Deft b**r, tasty mead or w**e from Lost Cause or Oddish W**es, and mouth-watering wood-fired artisanal pizzas and other hearty fare from Pizza Cassette. No cover. Fun prizes for the top teams - like the super-secret "mystery bag". Any size team. Always fun!

On tap now, a Deftie favorite... "Bay Park Blonde" Kölsch-Style Blonde Ale. Our most popular b**r in our tasting room, really flavorful yet crisp and refreshing, straddling that line between light ales and la**rs. Kölsch ales originate from Cologne (Köln). Quite flavorful for a lighter b**r - our fermentation profile coaxes out unique, enjoyable flavors. Refreshing and perfect for the San Diego climate. Try it with Queen Pizza (here) or Chicken Salad (at home).

Our next SDSU Jazz Jam here at Deft Brewing and The Gärten will be this upcoming MONDAY OCT 5, 6pm. Join us for a couple hours of some great Monday night Jazz on the patio, featuring American virtuoso jazz pianist Mikan Zlatkovich and many talented SDSU Jazz students and faculty. It promises to be an enjoyable evening of fresh air and amazing jazz.

Series of five of these Monday or Tuesday night jazz jams here on the patio stage this Fall:

This German-style amber l***r, now with an enhanced recipe making it better than ever, has a soft toasty malt flavor, yet still smooth and easy drinking, and a subtle hop character provides great balance.
