While attending Fun ā€˜N Sun in Pasadena, we had the opportunity to learn from J. Keith White, AIFD, Creative Director of American Floral Trends, as he shared the 2027 + 2028 floral trend forecast.

Five distinct movements are shaping whatā€™s next:
ASPIRE, DISCOVER, ENVISION, TRUST + TRANSFORM
from bold, abundant color to earthy textures, painterly palettes, quiet neutrals and dramatic contrast.
And, of course, we couldnā€™t help looking at it all through a growerā€™s eyes. šŸ‘€šŸŒ±

What are we already growing that fits these emerging palettes? What varieties might designers reach for in new ways? And which trends have us especially excited for the seasons ahead?

Hereā€™s our take on the five trends weā€™ll be watching ā€” inspired by what we learned from Keith and the American Floral Trends 2027ā€“2028 forecast.

Because theyā€™re forecasting. Weā€™re growing. šŸ˜‰
Which one are you most excited to see bloom?

Trend research and creative direction by American Floral Trends, led by J. Keith White, AIFD, and presented at Fun ā€˜N Sun 2026. Research + development supported by the AIFD Foundation.

We just had to jump on the ā€œkinda chicā€ bandwagon. šŸŒæ

But hereā€™s the thing. Thereā€™s nothing particularly chic about running a California farm built by an immigrant family and carried forward through generations.

Itā€™s early mornings and long days. Dirt under your nails. Harvesting by hand. Learning the land, knowing the plants, working through heat, weather, changing seasons and everything else farming throws your way.

Itā€™s hard work. Skilled work. Work that has been passed down through generations and continues because there are people willing to show up and do it every single day.

So yeah, maybe growing beautiful things is kinda chic.
But the work behind them?

Thatā€™s something weā€™re simply damn proud of.

At Santana Farms, consistency matters.šŸ’

While we grow a wide range of premium greenery and flowers on our farm, we also work closely with trusted local growers to source seasonal products when theyā€™re not available in our own fields.

Why? Because our customers depend on having the products they need, when they need them.

By combining our own farm-grown inventory with carefully selected products from fellow growers, weā€™re able to offer a reliable, year-round supply without compromising on quality.
Itā€™s a commitment to service, consistency, and the relationships weā€™ve built throughout the floral industry.
Because when your reputation depends on every shipment, reliability isnā€™t optional.

Itā€™s what sets Santana Farms apart.

Honored to have supported this incredible evening with blooms from the farm.

Itā€™s always meaningful to see flowers help bring people together for a cause that creates real impact in the community. Huge thanks to Casa de Amparo for the work they do supporting children and families in need, and to everyone who attended and donated.

Weā€™re grateful to have been a small part of such a beautiful night.
