You all know and love our Free Shot Fridays - we thought it was time to take this a step further.

Starting TOMORROW May 22 - Fridays are now SOLIDARITY SHOT FRIDAYS ☕️🧡

In the wake of the horrible tragedy and act of terrorism that unfolded earlier this week, our first chosen cause is the families of those murdered at the Islamic Center of San Diego.

Add a shot of espresso “for here” to any order on Friday for just $1 and we will pass on the entire dollar directly to the ICSD Victim & Family Support Fund.

Every few weeks we will choose a new community cause to support. Show up and make a difference while enjoying some damn tasty coffee.

Meet El Cuarenteño. In 1940, a rural community in the Sierra de San Juan foothills of Nayarit petitioned the Mexican government for their own land. They got it — 3,500 collective hectares — and they’ve been farming it ever since, passing plots from parent to child, growing shade-grown coffee with views out to the Pacific. That’s the coffee in your bag. The Nayarit Natural is the lighter expression: golden apple, pistachio cream, brown sugar. Lively, friendly, and the kind of cup that just puts you in a good mood before you’ve even figured out why.
Same farm, different frequency. The Nayarit Natural Plus takes that same El Cuarenteño coffee and pushes it into medium-plus territory — more body, more depth, more of that indulgent natural processing magic working overtime. We’re talking Nutella, chocolate fudge, marshmallow. Syrupy and round and straight-up satisfying. If the regular Nayarit is a morning sunrise, the Plus is the couch, the blanket, and the second cup.
