This big boy might be a little sunwashed (yaay free ranging 🫠🙄) but he is a STUNNER. I am so lucky to have him. He is SO strong.

When he was a little chickie he was in a pogo stick accident 🙈 He was completely knocked out and I truly thought I lost him.❤️‍🩹 Well he must be a cat not a chicken cus fella has 9 lives and made a full recovery👏🏼

So grateful he's still here because he is doing amazing things 🤎 he is my main chocolate rooster so if you're getting chocolate from me they are gonna be juicy like their daddy 😍 🍫

This little one has the cutest beauty mark, it's almost like it was designed for fall 🍁😍 there's always a surprise or something special in every hatch 🐣 I don't think I will ever get over it. I LOVE the anticipation and seeing them do all their "firsts". Truly do NOT recommend hatching your eggs, because once you start you won't ever stop! HIGHLY addictive 😈🤭🤣

Hi Peeps 👋🏼 we've been battling the heat and transitioning coops over here at Blondie's Silkies. I have been meaning to update everyone but life took over and a social media break was needed 💟

I am a ADHDiva and sometimes my brain will tell me to post but I get overwhelmed or lost in my thoughts. Then once I realize it months have gone by. If I've been distant or not communicating that well - I apologize and will do better!

Here's one of my sweet growouts I've been hoarding (can you tell why 🫢😍) she is so friendly, always the first to greet me. She is the worst and I don't even like her 🤢 IYKYK. 🧿🤫🤪😂

I'm still hatching *CRAZY PERSON I KNOW* and have lots of babies and juvis that will be coming with me to my next event! Don't miss it, lots of colors and choices. I have been silently working my 🍑 off and am so eggcited to share with you and show you Peeps what I've been up to. 💝

"Taste the rainbow" 🌈 🥚

In addition to my silkies I have an amazing flock of heritage chickens 🐔 they provide an eggcelent variety of colored eggs. I love collecting them and seeing the beautiful colors they make. 🩷🤍🩵🧡

Sometimes I hatch their eggs out but right now if I do then Silkie is in there since my roosters are silkie. Next season we will be able to switch that up. I hatched out the sweetest silverudd roo from Paulette Brown who I will be pairing with my RiR to create "silver bullet" hybrids 😍

And I hatched a cream legbar who is a boy too. Has any one ever had those ? I love how they are auto-sexable so I know at hatch what they are. But unsure of personality as this is a new breed I'm currently working with. I'd love to hear other chicken keepers experience with them. My egg layer flock is about get an upgrade in boys 🥰 🤗
