Women’s History Month is a moment to recognize the entrepreneurs, makers, and innovators who continue to shape our industry. Through Apron Exchange, we have the privilege of partnering with women-owned businesses across our markets and creating space for their products and stories to reach new audiences.

Throughout March, our teams are highlighting women-owned Apron Exchange partners in our cafĂ©s — from specialty pantry items to coffee collaborations — ensuring their craftsmanship and impact are visible where people gather every day.

What makes this work meaningful is that it doesn’t begin or end in March. Supporting women-owned businesses is part of how we create meaningful representation in our cafĂ©s and build platforms for entrepreneurs year-round.

At our food halls, Black History Month means bringing history to the table.

It also reflects work that continues long beyond a single month. Throughout the year, we partner with Black-owned local restaurants for pop-ups and collaborate with Black entrepreneurs through programs like Apron Exchange, making sure the stories behind the food are represented in our spaces.

This month’s Chef Table highlights a recipe from The Taste of Country Cooking by Edna Lewis, Corn Pone with Strawberry Jam & Honey Butter, and raffling off the 50th anniversary edition of the cookbook.

We’re also featuring in our coffee bar, a Black-owned roaster rooted in purpose and community impact.

Food tells stories. Our role is to make space for them, not just in February, but every day.
