Do you have your eye on San Diego Wine Country? 👀

You should! 😻 They got it going on!

Last night I attended the RVVA Wine Competition Awards Banquet after having the pleasure of serving as a judge for the second year in a row.

It was a really great experience and the wines were overall so impressive!

Ramona Valley AVA is celebrating their 20th anniversary of being a AVA, so they’re just a baby!

I have been tasting San Diego wines since I moved here in 2011 and they continue to grow and improve every year. I’m so proud of my local region. 💕

One of the wines that blew me and my fellow judges out of the water was the 2023 100% Merlot from Block 270, an amateur winemaker. It tasted old world and was absolutely amazing! 😻😻😻

Have you tried wines from San Diego?
If you’re in town and need any recommendations, hit me up!

Cheers, LC 🍷

Cool for the summer 🥂

Kicking off National Prosecco Week with these 2 beauties and

Riondo Prosecco DOC Extra Brut is a classic prosecco made from 100% Glera grapes from the Veneto region with just a touch of sweetness, giving great balance.

La Gioiosa Prosecco Rosé DOC Millesimato is an elegant, vegan-friendly prosecco from the Veneto region. Blending 85% Glera grapes with 15% Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir) popping with silky bubbles with red berry fruit.

Fun Fact: Prosecco Rosé was only approved by the DOC 6 years ago in May 2020. 😻

What are you drinking to celebrate National Prosecco Week?! 🍾🥂
Drop your favorite Prosecco producer in the comments. I need to add to my list. 😘

Desparada is a woman-owned and run winery, where every label is designed in-house and incorporates the female form.

She sources from organic, biodynamic, and sustainably-focused vineyards whenever possible and takes a low-intervention approach to winemaking, letting the fruit shine.

This winery needs to be on your next trip to 😻 You can find them in along with some other really fab wineries. I recommend making a day of it.

A little can go a long way…💚

Last week I attended the
and was inspired by so many Climate Leaders and Advocates.

I enjoyed delicious vegan cuisine thanks to and team, and drank sustainable organic wine from 🍷

Taking care of the planet starts with the everyday choices we make - right down to what’s in our glass.

isn’t just organic, they’re using regenerative farming to rebuild soil health and fight climate change. Nearly half their land is left completely wild, and their winery is virtually zero-waste (diverting 98% from landfills!).

Every single choice we make adds up to a massive impact. Cheers to making more mindful, sustainable choices together. 🌎✨

Happy Pride Month! 🌈

One of the things I love most about wine is that every bottle tells a story - and this one is a beautiful reminder that supporting diverse voices makes the world stronger. 💕

is led by wife-and-wife team Tara Gomez and Mireia Taribó, who create low-intervention wines that beautifully express their Santa Ynez roots and heritage.

The 2021 Camins 2 Dreams Carignan from Happy Canyon, Santa Barbara, is everything I want in a Carignan. Bright red fruit, savory spice, lively acidity, and enough tannin to give it structure without weighing it down. Balanced, expressive, and incredibly easy to keep pouring. Paired perfectly with vegan filet.

🍇 If Carignan isn’t already on your radar, it should be. Originally from Spain and widely planted throughout Southern France, Carignan is known for its vibrant acidity, savory character, and ability to produce wines with both energy and depth. If you love Grenache, you will love this! 🤩

Pride Month is a great reminder to seek out and support LGBTQ+ owned businesses and wineries like Camins 2 Dreams. Not because it’s a box to check, but because some of the most exciting voices in wine are helping shape where the industry goes next. 💕

I’m heading to LA this week for the Hollywood Climate Summit and WeHo Pride! 🌈🦄 😘
