The eldest two Buttercup Kids made this cake for my birthday this year. 😍 They worked so hard on it! It’s a chocolate cake with my Mom’s Chocolate Frosting. It’s a gravity defying cake with a bag floating and spilling Oreo cookies all over the cake. So cute! I’m so thankful for my kids, my husband, and all my extended family and friends. I’m thankful you’re here on this journey with me too! I pray each of you will have a wonderful day. Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello! Been forever since I posted...real life interrupted fb life. We now have a new Baby Boy Buttercup! I’ve done a few cakes since I last posted but mostly been focusing on our now Buttercup Family of 5! I’ll post a couple pics of sweet creations I’ve done lately as I’m able. What an honor it was to work on this cake. 💝 The plan was to recreate one of the tiers from my parents-in-law's wedding cake. Their picture then and now is below-aren't they cute?! The cake is lemon-white chocolate with a lemon curd filling and a lemon-white chocolate cream cheese frosting. Happy Anniversary to a sweet, amazing couple! 💕

This was a special birthday treat for my precious Mom. She loves chocolate and orange together. This is chocolate orange cake, topped with chocolate ganache, salted orange buttercream, and finally an orange chocolate square on top. (I didn't make the square. Ha!)

Happy Monday! Hope this scrumptious cake helps to brighten it. This is my devils food chocolate cake, topped with chocolate ganache, and whipped cream frosting. And finally smothered with cherries and berries! Very indulgent. My mouth is watering as I type...

Princess & the Pea Cake: white/vanilla cake, vanilla buttercream frosting, and fondant decor. Lots of work but very rewarding. I think this was Big Girl Buttercup's favorite cake I've made. She hated to give it up! Such a sweetheart. 💜

Help! I'm planning on making a Princess and the Pea cake for Big Girl Buttercup's school fundraiser. I'd love to bake a different flavor cake (thinking strawberry) but worried it's not generally liked enough. Should I do strawberry 👍🏼, chocolate ❤️, vanilla 😆, or a pink vanilla 😲? Thank you!!
