Beautiful Mess Farm

Beautiful Mess Farm We're evolving, stay tuned! Located within the San Diego city limits, Beautiful Mess Farm is really more of an experiment than a working farm. At least for now.

We have chickens that provide fresh eggs and in 2016 welcomed our first pair of dairy goats. The orchard is in and ever expanding, the garden is making it's way towards happening. There's always some project in the works. Follow our progress and maybe we'll all learn a little something amusing.

I planted Love Lies Bleeding Amaranth a few years ago and it just re-seeds itself wherever it can. Unless it's in a really inconvenient spot I let it grow there until it's done being really pretty, taking care to let it set seeds before pulling it up and feeding it to the goats.
