Thunderhawk Alements

Thunderhawk Alements started as two friends with a passion for brewing in the front yard of a small apartment in OB. As the hobby turned to obsession, our garage was overwhelmed with equipment and ideas. We soon knew we could no longer suppress our own adventurous spirits and arrived at the conclusion that starting our OWN brewery was the only option. We brew on a 1BBL Electric Brewhouse that will

ultimately be powered by a Solar PV array. As outdoor junkies we wanted to create our beers with sustainability in mind. Our longterm goal is to can our beer, which we believe is the best pack-in, pack-out container available. We want our patrons to be able to conveniently bring our beers on any outdoor excursion and bring them home to recycle. Who doesn't like ending a hike with a cold beer? We will be brewing an ESB, Dunkelweiss, IPA, Milk Stout, and a variety of seasonal and specialty beers. Combined with fresh ingredients, you can feel good about how our beer tastes, where it comes from, and how we make it. Thunderhawk Alements was founded in 2014 by Jonathan Barbarin and William Lindsay. The San Diego Natives have been friends for over 25 years and brewed together for the last 7 years. Inspired by nature, and human culture they constantly seek new experiences through their travels that ultimately are reflected in the worldly offering of beer styles. If Bill and Jon aren't brewing you can most likely find them hiking, surfing, snowboarding, playing soccer, or on another adventure!
