🚨Southern California Friends🚨My friend, Michelle, has several 2.5 week old Lavender/Split Bantam Ameraucanas AND Ermine Olive Eggers hatched from us available!

➡️We have VERY high pullet hatch rate on the Bantam Ameraucanas here (75% + I’ve been TRYING to hatch another boy all spring)

Buddy - the Great Pyrenees Cone-saga Update

Day 2 of recovery:
Buddy is probably the sweetest 1.5 yo baby ever. He is loyal, gentle and a great watchman. He also HATES deer. Guess what our property has an abundance of???

This morning he was feeling back to his normal energy level and DESPERATELY wanted out of the house. So I had a little chat with my big boy reminding him he’s still wearing a dang cone and to be mindful. Naturally, like all children (aka Pyrenees), he did none of that nonsense.

Buddy bolted out of the door, ran into our BBQ canopy, stumbled down the deck stairs, ran into the gate, smacked the cone on the tree nearest the house, charged full speed across the grass, ran into another tree, through the meadow, hitting several saplings, and finally one last tree before he stopped and admitted defeat.

He sat there. The sun glistening on dew that had fallen on his white fur. Staring off at those dang deer. And soon he disappeared. Thankfully he came back with the cone. This is going to be a LONG 7 days…

Buddy is home from being fixed and the only thing he wants is to sit on my lap and be loved. Thank you, Cornerstone Animal Hospital for giving our boy the best care today!
