Fiber and protein are important to look at on labels for so many reasons. Taking a peek at fiber content is one of the first things Kristin does—because fiber (a carb) doesn't impact blood sugar. So if a baked good delivers solid fiber, protein, and no added sugars? That's a win.
Not all bread is created equal! Next time you're comparing labels, look for:
