Since Mother’s Day, we’ve been selling out of pandan chiffon cakes and kaya jars. To wrap up AAPI Month this Sunday, May 31st, Heidi, our beloved Singaporean General Manager and incredible pastry chef, put together a special Singaporean Breakfast Club for the community.

We just want to say thank you so much for all the support. Last week SOLD OUT quickly and we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate any more folks for this Sunday. That said, we’re hoping to make this a recurring monthly event, so keep an eye out. We’ll be launching ticket pre-sales for the next one in the coming weeks.

To everyone who RSVPed, we can’t wait to see you on Sunday. We’re excited to serve up kopi, teh, soft boiled eggs, and kaya toast. Show up in your best Singaporean outfits and code switch to Singlish can?

Still thinking about Rice Showdown at KQED LIVE 🍚
✨ - food truly brings people together.

There’s nothing like talking culture, memory, and connection with a crowd and fellow chefs – and yes, laksa came up (of course 😄)!

Huge thanks to and all the chefs who shared the stage. If you missed it, come taste the story with us at Dabao Singapore in the Metreon (SF).

Some people bring sandwiches to the park, I bring Prawn Mee.

This one’s built like the ones I grew up with - minus the hawker center sweat. Rich pork and shrimp head broth, wok-tossed noodles, fatty pork belly, crunchy veg, and jumbo prawns that actually live up to the name.

Add sambal. Mix well. Slurp loud. Then come back before Aug ends - ‘cause this special’s walking off the menu soon.
